Sociable Hounds is a family business. It was set up in 2016 to meet the needs of our golden retriever, Bailey. Long walks, mental stimulation, socialisation and short journey times are paramount at Sociable Hounds, along with providing flexibility and a trustworthy service for all owners.

We will pick up your dog from your chosen location and take them on an adventure, dropping them back with you happy, tired and clean.

Our enclosed woodland at the foot of the Pentland Hills is a great alternative to dog walking. There are paths to follow, a lovely stream running through the woodland for those who love to swim and over 2 acres of space for the dogs to run and explore.

Join The Pack:
Before becoming a ‘sociable hound’ all dogs join us for a trial walk to meet the group and ensure they will be well suited and happy with us! We also ask that your hound is up to date on their vaccinations and those who are over 1 years old (or 18 months depending on their breed) are neutered.
